I struggled with a sluggish thyroid for years. When I visited my doctor, I explained all of my symptoms and she told me that they were due to stress. She proceeded to test my thyroid function, but only tested TSH and told me that it was "just fine." Well, I wasn't fine, I struggled to get through each day. It was only after I visited several more doctors and found a Functional Medicine Practitioner that I was able to fully heal my adrenals and thyroid.
